Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Iceland, Reykjavik. She is a CrossFit professional athlete. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie is the only woman to is a winner at CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished second. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit as well as a popular media personality. She has gained fame for being the only woman ever to win the two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. The winner of both the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie and her parents and her siblings were born and raised in Reykjavik Iceland. Being an avid sportsman and fitness enthusiast since a young age she participated in various school games and was awarded numerous medals. She is 5'7 tall and her weight approximately about 67 kgs. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California 2009. She had a good performance during her first competitions. She ranked within the top 10 of a field of 70. The team did not make it to the top of this tournament and she ended the tournament with a score of eleven. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's coaching she won the gold medal at the CrossFit Games. Because of her outstanding performance, she managed to take home the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie also won her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She was the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, she took home a gold. And in 2021, she took home with a bronze. Annie is a coach and trainer with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie, who is gaining recognition for her athletic skills, has appeared in advertisements of athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs, among others. There are a few thousand subscribers to her own Youtube Channel, where training videos as well as travel and family videos are uploaded.
